Dell Launches XPS 13, Alienware 15, Dell 14S, and Dell 16S Laptops in India
Dell has expanded its laptop lineup in India with the launch of several new devices. The new arrivals include the premium XPS 13 laptop, the gaming-focused Alienware 15, and the standard Dell 14S and Dell 16S models. Dell has described this launch as one of the most comprehensive updates to its product lineup to date.
Dell XPS 13 Specifications and Pricing
The XPS 13 is positioned as the centrepiece of the launch, with Dell highlighting it as the thinnest and lightest XPS laptop it has built. The device has a thickness of 12.7mm and weighs approximately 1kg. Built with an aluminium design, the laptop runs on Intel Core Series 3 processors, with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 options scheduled to become available later. It supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and offers up to 17 hours of streaming battery life.
The laptop features a 2.5K LCD touch display with 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour coverage, up to 500 nits of brightness, and a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz. Audio is supported by Dolby Atmos-tuned quad speakers. Connectivity options include either two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports or two Thunderbolt 4 and USB Type-C ports, depending on the configuration. The XPS 13 is initially available in a Sky shade, with a Storm colour option arriving later.
In India, the XPS 13 starts at Rs 79,990. It is available through Dell’s official website, exclusive stores, and Reliance Digital. Dell is offering cashback incentives of up to Rs 5,000 alongside a free one-year McAfee security subscription.
Alienware 15 Gaming Laptop
For gaming users, Dell has introduced the Alienware 15, which is available in multiple configurations. The laptop can be configured with up to Intel Core 7 Series 2 240H processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics. It features a 15.3-inch WUXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 165Hz refresh rate.
According to Dell, the Alienware 15 utilizes advanced thermal technologies and has undergone testing to withstand accidental spills of up to 60ml and drops of up to 18 inches. The physical ports on the device include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, RJ45 Ethernet, a universal audio jack, and a dedicated power port.
The Alienware 15 with Intel Core processors starts at Rs 1,28,990. It is sold via Dell’s website, exclusive stores, and retail partners. Customers can access up to Rs 10,000 in cashback through bank offers. Additionally, Dell is offering the Alienware 25 320Hz Gaming Monitor, valued at Rs 22,600, for a promotional price of Rs 9,999 when purchased alongside the Alienware 15.
AI-Ready Dell 14S and Dell 16S
Dell is positioning the new 14S and 16S models as AI-ready laptops designed around Microsoft Copilot. Both models are powered by either Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, offering up to a 50 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The Dell 16S configuration with the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor delivers 55 per cent higher graphics performance compared to the previous generation.
Both laptops are constructed using recycled aluminium and plastics, and they ship in recycled packaging. The Dell 14S weighs approximately 1.46kg and is available in two colour options: Celestial Blue and Frost Blue.
For displays, the 14S offers FHD Plus OLED touch and non-touch panels. The larger 16S features a 2.8K OLED touch panel with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of brightness, 100 per cent DCI-P3 coverage, and Dolby Vision support. Both models include two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a headset port.
The Dell 14S starts at Rs 1,19,900 in India, while the Dell 16S is priced starting at Rs 2,29,900. Both laptops include a free one-year McAfee security subscription and are available through Dell’s website, exclusive stores, and retail partners.
