The Australia A Women’s cricket team is scheduled to tour India in September 2026 for a multi-format series. Running from September 12 to September 29, the tour will feature three unofficial T20s, three unofficial ODIs, and a single unofficial Test match played across venues in Mohali and Dharamsala.

Match Schedule and Venue Details

The tour will commence in Mohali, where the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium will host all three unofficial T20 matches. The opening T20 is scheduled to take place on September 12, 2026.

Following the shortest format, the action will shift to the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. This venue will host the three unofficial ODIs, scheduled for September 20, September 23, and September 25, respectively.

Dharamsala will also host the sole unofficial Test match of the tour, which is set to begin on September 29, 2026. This fixture represents a historic milestone, marking the first-ever Test match to be played on Indian soil between the India A Women and Australia A Women teams.

Coaching Staff and Leadership Appointments

Cricket Australia has appointed Gavan Twining as the head coach for the Australia A Women's team during this tour. Twining will be supported by assistant coaches Mick Delaney and Cameron Boyce.

In a notable selection decision, Cricket Australia has named three different captains to lead the squad across the three distinct formats of the tour. Tahlia Wilson will captain the ODI side, Nicole Faltum will lead the T20 squad, and Rachel Trenaman has been appointed captain for the four-day unofficial Test match.
