Janani Bandla, the daughter of Telugu film producer and actor Bandla Ganesh, married Surya Teja Chilukuri at the JRC Convention Centre in Hyderabad on Sunday. The high-profile wedding drew some of the most prominent personalities from both the Telugu film industry and regional politics.
Prominent Film Personalities in Attendance
The wedding ceremony saw a significant turnout from Tollywood's leading stars. "Megastar" Chiranjeevi was among the first major guests to arrive to bless the newlyweds, accompanied by his wife, Surekha Konidela. The Konidela family shares a long-standing professional and personal connection with Bandla Ganesh, who has produced several projects associated with the family over the years.
Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni attended the event alongside his son, Naga Chaitanya, and daughter-in-law, Sobhita Dhulipala. Other notable film industry figures in attendance included veteran actor Venkatesh Daggubati, filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, and director Anil Ravipudi. Renowned comedians Brahmanandam and Sunil were also present to congratulate the couple.

The wedding also served as a gathering point for key political figures from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Telangana Chief Minister A. Chandrababu Naidu also attended the celebrations, where an emotional Bandla Ganesh was seen welcoming him.
While Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was unable to attend the wedding, his wife, Anna Lezhneva, was present at the ceremony. Bandla Ganesh has maintained a long-standing association and public support for Pawan Kalyan.
Months of Wedding Preparations
The wedding was the culmination of several months of public preparations, which began in April when Bandla Ganesh announced the upcoming nuptials on social media during a traditional pasupu kumkuma ceremony. The formal engagement ceremony took place on May 3 in Hyderabad, attended by Chiranjeevi, N. Chandrababu Naidu, producers Naveen Yerneni and Vishwa Prasad, and director Boyapati Srinu.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Bandla Ganesh and his family personally visited the residences of various film personalities to deliver invitations. Among those visited were Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, Ram Charan, and filmmaker SS Rajamouli.
Bandla Ganesh, who has two sons, Hitesh and Hiresh, alongside his daughter Janani, began his career as a supporting actor in Telugu cinema before transitioning into film production. He has also been active in Andhra Pradesh politics, maintaining relationships across different political parties.
