Avengers: Endgame Encore Sees Big India Opening with Rs 4.45 Crore Pre-Sales
Seven years after Avengers: Endgame brought the Infinity Saga to its massive theatrical finale, Marvel is asking audiences to do something familiar all over again: assemble. This time, the film is returning as Avengers: Endgame Encore – and Indian audiences have already started buying tickets.
According to Sacnilk, the re-release has clocked Rs 4.45 crore in advance sales across its first three days, including block seats, with bookings jumping by around Rs 1.43 crore in the last 24 hours. Without block seats, the film has sold 12,709 tickets across 1,613 shows as of the latest booking update.
Day 1 Makes Its Mark
The opening day is where Endgame Encore is seeing the most action. For September 25, the film has crossed Rs 21.25 lakh without block seats, with 4,790 tickets sold across 537 shows. With block seats included, the Day 1 advance gross stands at around Rs 1.64 crore.
Day 2 has recorded Rs 14.83 lakh without block seats from 3,735 tickets across 537 shows, while Day 3 has reached Rs 14.74 lakh from 4,184 tickets across 539 shows.
Adding the block seats and the three-day pre-sales total climbs to Rs 4.45 crore.
Premium Screens Do Their Bit
There’s also a reason these advance figures need a little context. Endgame Encore isn’t simply returning to the same screens in the same form.
Day 1 bookings include premium formats such as IMAX 2D, 4DX 3D and other large-format experiences. English IMAX 2D has grossed around Rs 8.07 lakh from 1,513 tickets, while 4DX 3D has crossed Rs 4.67 lakh from 801 tickets in the latest data.
The film will also be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, alongside English, across formats including IMAX, Marvel Studios Presented In Infinity Vision, 4DX, MX4D, SCREENX, Dolby Vision, HDR Barco and ICE.

What’s New This Time?
Marvel isn’t selling Endgame Encore purely on nostalgia.
The returning blockbuster comes with additional footage and an exclusive look at Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 18. Marvel has also positioned the new material as a link between Endgame and the upcoming Avengers film.
The regular Encore version adds nearly two minutes of footage, while select premium presentations carry additional material.
That gives fans who’ve already watched Endgame a reason to return, while those who missed its original theatrical run get another chance to experience one of Marvel’s biggest films on the big screen.
Can Endgame Encore Set a Re-Release Record?
The early bookings have naturally raised the question of how far this return can go.
Internationally, Box Office Theory has projected a US domestic opening in the $19 million-$28 million range for the re-release. The original Endgame earned around $2.79 billion worldwide during its 2019 run, so whatever comes now is being added to a box-office story that’s already enormous.
